Katy brings considerable experience in PR, copywriting and brand management within the legal sector to MD Communications.
At Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Katy managed brand communications and a rebrand covering its 27 offices worldwide. She went on to achieve extensive positive regional and national media coverage for Stewarts where she headed up its PR before joining our team.
During her time at Stewarts, she was responsible for placing articles in line with the firm’s communications strategy and ensuring that all communication channels reflected the diverse litigation that the firm specialises in.
At Stewarts she was also responsible for all award submissions (Citywealth Magic Circle Awards, The Lawyer Awards, The Legal Business Awards etc.) and directory entries (i.e. Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, Spear’s). She can advise on strategies to mitigate reputational risk and train individuals to confidently deal with the media.
Prior to Stewarts, her brand management experience working agency-side as a Consultant covered a variety of sectors focusing on rebranding, embedding key messages and ensuring that the brand accurately captured, represented and reinforced the client experience.
