We work across the full spectrum of PR and reputation management and structure outputs into campaign delivery. We invest heavily in our own relationships with the media and use our connections and experience to position our clients in the right media and in the right context.
Our key objective is always to ensure that your PR spend converts to building brand awareness and increased client inquiries within your target sectors.
What we do:
1. Working with an international law firm to raise the profile of their white-collar team within the UK market. Over the 12-month campaign we secured face-to-face meetings with a range of national journalists – covering not just white-collar crime, but also briefs including law, regulation, banking and finance, and the City. Through building a substantial awareness across our network of media contacts we secured the firm regular opportunities to comment on major news stories. Once we had proved the client to these journalists, we were able to benefit from being approached by journalists on new and breaking stories. Alongside work to boost news coverage in this way, we also placed a steady stream of articles in relevant trade and sector media. Our work resulted in the client’s position moving from one of limited coverage to competing on a level playing field alongside top ranked criminal practices.
2. Working with an internationally renowned, top-100 law firm for several years, frequently being brought in to support both the firm and their clients with media relations around complex litigation cases. In one case, the litigants were a family in an extremely high-profile bereavement, and the defendants were a series of globally recognised brands. We were brought in to handle all media strategy around the launch of the case – advising the legal team and the family. We developed clear messages and ensured these ran through all media communications. We delivered extensive, positive media coverage across the international, UK national and specialist consumer and trade media. This included broadcast interviews for both the lead lawyer and the family.
3. Advising a client operating in a niche market that involves mergers and acquisitions activity around the Competitions & Markets Authority. Through our proactive work, combined with our strong editorial relationships, we successfully secured a mix of national, trade and regional coverage for the firm. Our client has made the headlines consistently, including an Op-Ed in The Times and featuring twice on the front page of the business section in The Telegraph. Working hand in hand with the client’s social media channels, we promote these PR successes when they land which builds credibility with their followers and journalists see first-hand how the firm’s expertise can be of benefit for future features and developing stories. Our client has quickly become a go-to expert for commentary and editorial opportunities.
